NUST GPA System Explained (2026 Edition)
NUST uses a relative grading system — unlike most Pakistani universities, NUST grades on a curve. Here is the full breakdown.
NUST Grade Scale (8-Grade System)
| Grade | Points | Approx. % |
|---|---|---|
| A | 4.0 | 85%+ |
| B+ | 3.5 | 75–84% |
| B | 3.0 | 65–74% |
| C+ | 2.5 | 55–64% |
| C | 2.0 | 50–54% |
| D | 1.0 | 45–49% |
| F | 0.0 | Below 45% |
Notably, there are no A-, B-, C-, or D+ grades at NUST.
